About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and BOPLO (“Boplo”, “we”), for your use of Boplo Flight at boplo.app. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Contact: support@boplo.app.
You must be at least 16 to use Boplo Flight. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to any purchase.
What Boplo Flight is, and isn’t
Boplo Flight is a study and record-keeping companion for student pilots. It is not flight instruction, not an approved flight simulation training device, not an official logbook (unless your authority accepts it), and not an operational weather or navigation briefing. Nav logs, currency calculations, rules summaries, study questions, radio practice and the simulator are aids for learning and planning. Always check against your instructor, your school, your authority’s published rules and official aeronautical and weather sources. You remain responsible for every flight you make.
Rules, minimum hours and other reference data come from public sources and can change. We work to keep them accurate but can’t guarantee they’re complete or current for your situation.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You’re responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of the information you add.
Plans, trials and billing
- Free is free for as long as we offer it, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Advanced costs US$11.99 a month or US$99.99 a year, plus any VAT or sales tax that applies where you live. Prices shown at checkout are what you pay.
- Free trial: new subscribers get 7 days free. You need to add a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you’re charged automatically. You can have one free trial.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews at the end of each month or year, and we charge your payment method, until you cancel.
- Cancelling: cancel any time in Plan & billing. You keep Advanced until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and nothing more is charged.
- Price changes: we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice of a price change, and it applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, we’ll try again and let you know. If it still can’t be collected, your desk moves to Free.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Refunds and your right to cancel are explained in our Refunds and cancellation policy.
If you move to Free
Your records stay. Anything beyond the Free limits remains readable and exportable, but you can’t add more until you upgrade again.
Your content
Your flights, notes and other content belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and display them only to provide the service to you (and to anyone you share an instructor link with). You can export or delete them at any time.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, access other people’s data, scrape it, resell it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
Third-party services
Some features rely on other providers, such as Google Maps Platform for 3D scenery, NOAA for weather and Stripe for payments. By using the 3D simulator scenery you also agree to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. If a provider changes or stops its service, the related feature may change or stop too.
Boplo’s content
The app, its design, the question bank and other materials we create belong to Boplo or our licensors. You may use them for your own training, not copy or redistribute them.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep Boplo Flight running smoothly but can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may improve, change or remove features. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you’ve paid for, you can cancel and get a pro-rata refund for the unused period.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Apart from that, Boplo is not liable for losses arising from relying on the service in place of official sources or instruction, or for indirect losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending this agreement
You can stop using Boplo and delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms; if we end a paid subscription without good reason, we’ll refund the unused period.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts. Please contact us first at support@boplo.app; most problems can be sorted out quickly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For significant changes we’ll tell you in advance in the app or by email. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before they apply.
